I'm Niklas - Slovenian and Austrian, 24 years old and since recently living in Utrecht. My parents put a racket in my hand when I was four and I hardly ever put it down. Hundreds of sessions with my coaches, hot summers on clay and when the courts froze, inside a giant balloon.
I coach the way I grew up being coached: closely, focused, and always joyful. Group classes have their place, but I truly believe if you want to actually get better – technique that survives pressure, a serve you can trust at 5–5 – you need someone watching every ball. That's what private and semi-private lessons are for.
I work with kids just starting out, adults picking the sport back up after a decade off, and competitive players sharpening specific aspects of their game. The lesson is adapted to each individual, but the approach is always the same - very focused yet always a fun time.

The fastest way to actually improve. Every ball is yours. We rebuild technique, footwork, and consistency without the noise of a group.
A group class is a lot of fun, but it's not the best way to improve. I often hear about 45 minute sessions, where 15 minutes are spent picking up balls and chatting. In those 45 minutes with eight players you'll strike maybe forty balls, half of them fed from a basket, none of them adjusted to a game situation. It's great as a fun social activity and as exercise, but it's a slow way to get better.
In a private hour you'll hit hundreds of balls and every single one might have a small correction - grip, contact point, timing, balance. That's where improvement actually comes from. If a private hour is out of reach, split it with someone. Bring a friend or partner, with two players for half the price you're still getting ninety percent of the value of a private class.
I coach on courts in and around Utrecht. If you have a club or a court you already play at, I'll come to you. If you don't, we'll play at my club. I'm happy to accomodate to your needs and wishes!
